• Donate for TRANSITION 2018

    12 November 2018

After a time of uncertainty it is now certain: The Transition International Queer Minorities Festival will also take place this year. From 22–25 November, TRANSITION, for the seventh time, will be showing films in Schikaneder regarding the topic of queer minorities. Because even though we are without fundings this year, we want to make a statement against the reactionary forces and their conservative life concepts, that not only in Austria are met with growing popularity. For that, we need your help.

The screenings will be without entrance fees, based on donations. That is why every single euro is helpful. We kindly ask you for your support.

See donation options and more information on Facebook.

  • Pass-Egal-Wahl 2018

    10 July 2018

    Liebe Freund_innen,

  • MiGaY in 16 languages

    2 June 2018

    Dear friends,

ready for the start of PRIDE month, our website is now accessible in multiple languages! :) We are particularly happy to present our text on coming out, which offers an easily understandable introduction into the topics of finding yourself, sexuality, gender, stereotypes, discrimination, xenophobia and racism – feel free to share it with relatives or friends.

In addition to English and German, we now offer the following languages: Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Czech, Hebrew, Hungarian, Japanese, Polish, Portugese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese.

We’re working on more languages, which will go online in the near future. If you would like to support us as a translator, send us a message to – every additional language helps us to help more people and to show the diversity of the LGBTIQ* community.

We would like to thank, from the bottom of our hearts, all translators who volunteered their time and talents to make this possible. ❤

Update: As most of us are ill and this means we also don’t have access to the planned location, we have to cancel our open-house meeting (that we so spontaneously announced last week) today after all. :/ We’re very, very sorry. Here’s hoping to see you all in May!

As many of you were disappointed that we had to cancel our open-house meeting on Easter Monday, we’ve decided to have a spontaneous open-house meeting this Monday:
